The current release wines have been received with high acclaim by wine critics from around the country. Tyson Stelzer (formally of the Halliday Wine Companion) said: "Lowestoft has quickly assumed a coveted place among Australia’s greatest names in cool climate viticulture."

Our Lowestoft range is made from a blend of the best barrels from each vintage, with fruit sourced from the Lowestoft estate (Pinot Noir only) and select vineyards across the Huon, Derwent, Coal River and Tamar Valleys. These wines are an exquisite introduction into the epitome of premium Tasmanian Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Lowestoft 2019 Chardonnay

The Lowestoft 2019 Chardonnay was awarded 96 points and highly reviewed by Tyson Stelzer in the Halliday Wine Companion 2022:

"Launching Tasmania's most exciting new premium label, the Fogarty Group sure has hit the ground running. This is pitch-perfect Chardonnay that embraces the generosity of a warm season and frames it intricately in crystalline acidity, top-class oak and just the right whif of struck-flint reduction. Masterfully assembled and a joy to taste."

Lowestoft 2018 Pinot Noir

Awarded a Gold Medal at the Royal Hobart Wine Show 2021 prior to its release, this is an exquisite expression of Tasmanian Pinot Noir.

On the winemaking ethos behind this wine, Chief Winemaker Liam McElhinney said: "Matured in large-format French oak for ten months (35% new). The first wine produced under the Lowestoft label using fruit from the Lowestoft estate, a nearby Derwent Valley vineyard, and select fruit from the Huon Valley and Coal River Valley.

The wine has a lovely lift and reveals layers of dark powerful fruit, nuanced by hints of earth and red berry. Evocative and complex all at once. The palate is powerfully fruited yet reveals a super fine and juicy tannin structure. Raspberry pip tannins carry the palate long, and perfect natural acidity ensures the wine is fresh and rewards cellaring."
