Trophy for Best Pinot Noir at the National Wine Show of Australia
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our 2020 Lowestoft La Maison Pinot Noir has won Top Gold and the Trophy for Best Pinot Noir at the recent National Wine Show of Australia. Our other 2020 Pinot Noir wines were also awarded gold medals.
After a two-year hiatus, the NWSA returned with their rescheduled 2021 competition to showcase only the most highly awarded, premium wines across Australia with eligible wines having already been awarded Gold or Silver at a qualifying show.
Esteemed NWSA wine judge James Halliday stated, “This is the most important wine show in Australia and it’s wonderful to see it back. The winners will benefit from the domestic and international profile that comes with being judged the very best of Australian wines and that is a wonderful opportunity for Australian winemakers.”
Crowned as “Tasmania’s most exciting new label” in the Halliday Wine Companion, Lowestoft is setting the benchmark for sensational Tasmanian Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with the recent NWSA awards further highlighting the success of these premium wines.
The 2020 La Maison Pinot Noir has now won the top Pinot Noir Trophy from two national wine shows; the 2021 Melbourne Royal Wine Awards and the 2021 National Wine Show of Australia.
