Trophy for Best Pinot Noir of Show at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show

Trophy for Best Pinot Noir of Show at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show

We are thrilled to announce that the 2022 La Maison Pinot Noir has been awarded a Trophy for Best Pinot Noir of Show at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show 2023.

Lowestoft is only going from strength to strength; incredibly, since the first vintage of La Maison was released in 2021, this is the fourth Best Pinot Noir of Show Trophy that La Maison Pinot Noir has won at capital city wine shows. This establishes the yet-to-be-released 2022 La Maison Pinot Noir as one of the best Pinot Noir wines in the country, sitting alongside its award-winning previous releases: 2021, 2020 and 2019.

The Royal Adelaide Wine Show is the most prestigious wine show in Australia, featuring over 2,300 wines from over 300 wineries across the country. Wines are judged by a panel of esteemed judges from across Australia over four days, to determine medal and trophy winners. Greg Follet, Chairman of the Wine Committee, said: “We had more than 2,300 wines this year, and our judges have been impressed by the quality and variety of wines in this year’s entries."

Three Gold Medals were also awarded to the following wines (not yet released):

  • Lowestoft 2022 La Maison Pinot Noir
  • Lowestoft 2022 Pinot Noir
  • Lowestoft 2021 Pinot Noir

Huge congratulations to Chief Winemaker Liam McElhinney.
